Diagnostic imaging findings of subcutaneous mast cell tumor in a dog

A 5-year-old Labrador Retriever presented with a subcutaneous mass on the right scapular region localized calor. On magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), heterogeneously hypointense was seen T1-weighted images (WI) and hyperintense T2WI fat-suppressed marginal contrast enhancement postcontrast T1WI invasion into surrounding tissue. Histopathological examination of confirmed mast cell tumor (MCT) infiltrating to adjacent fat. This is first report describe MRI findings MCT in veterinary medicine. study suggests that may help evaluate extent MCT.
